Canggu Beach Surfing

At the heart of Canggu’s allure are its surfing spots. Echo Beach, with its high, rolling, world-class waves, beckons the daring and skilled. Meanwhile, Batu Bolong, affectionately known as ‘Old Man’s’, is a haven for beginners and longboard enthusiasts. It’s more than surfing; it’s about finding your wave, your adventure.

The sand on the two beaches is black, but it’s also an excellent area to relax and watch the surfers. In the last year, Batu Bolong has become an extremely hot hangout for many young Europeans in the evening. The new atmosphere is similar to Ubud but with the surf in the background.

Panoramic Beach Views

Tiers of lush green rice paddies on the other side of the turquoise surf attract hundreds of birds to soar over or roost. This panoramic picture is rarely found on other beaches, making it a one-of-a-kind experience for those who see it.
